I certify that adequate and timely notifica-

-tion was made of the intention of the parties concerned to

apply to the Legislative Council of Hongkong for an Ordinance

styled "An Ordinance to provide for the Incorporation of the

Vissions to Seemen in Hongkong" before the same was brought

into the Legislative Council. Such notification was made in

the manner following:-

Botification of the intention of the parties

to apply for the said Ordinance was advertised in two issues

of the Government Gazette on the 23rd. and 30th. May, 1919,

and in two issues of one English Newspaper circulating in the

Colony, namely,

The Hongkong Daily Press on the 19th and 20th. May, 1919.

A draft of the proposed said Ordinance was further published

in one issue of the Government Gazette on the 30th. May, 1919.

A proof of the notification was made before me

in Executive Council,

Hongkong, 17th. June, 1919.
